Our unique location, neighboring apple and cherry orchards, shapes our soil composition and microclimate. These elements interact dynamically with our grapevines, creating a moderated microclimate that promotes even ripening and infuses our wines with a balanced flavor profile and ideal acidity.

Who Are We?
We are a family of farmers who make wine.
What is a Recusant?
A person who refuses to submit to an authority. It’s a French word meaning ‘one who resists authority,’ or ‘a rebel.’
What do we believe in?
We believe in not listening to naysayers. We’ve spent our whole lives doing really cool things that everyone else said were impossible.
What are we doing?
We are making a life that our whole family can be a part of! (We also make amazing wines, too.)
